Year 8 Arts Day
Murder, Madness and Macbeth
Thursday 5 July - In-school workshops £4 per student

A fringe event where year 8 students will experience a variety of workshops and opportunities to explore the world of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’. From stage combat,
performances of key scenes and make-up and costume design, students will be immersed in the dangerous and violent world of ‘The Scottish Play’.

Year 7 Arts Day
Monday 9 July - In-school workshops £4 per student
Always a vibrant and vivid event – our Year 7 students will enjoy a range of workshops celebrating the diversity of art, music, dance and drama from our own and other cultures. Parents are invited to watch the outcomes from the day at 2.00pm in the Big Top (no charge).

Performing Arts Day
Tuesday 10 July - In-school workshops £4 per student
100 students selected from Years 7-10 will participate in dance and physical theatre workshops in collaboration with staff and students from Barton Peveril’s Performing Arts Department. Students will present their work during the evening Performing Arts Showcase.
Primary Arts Day
Wednesday 11 July - In-school workshops £4 per child
250 children from our local primary schools will experience creative workshops in dance, physical theatre, art and music. Outcomes from the day will be presented in the evening Primary Spectacular.
